• GUEST ACCESS

Guests will have access to the entire condo. It is paramount that you are respectful towards your neighbours.

• LOCATION

Your home is located in the very heart of the trendy Bang Rak district, and just a short seven-minute walk to the Chong Nonsi BTS Skytrain station, from where you can quickly and easily travel to many other parts of the city. If you want to experience an authentic Bangkok market, the head to the Patpong Night Market, which is just a 15-minute walk from your home. There you’ll find a bustling energy in the hours after dark, with many stalls selling clothing, electronics and much more. If you’re just in the mood for a gentle walk or a romantic stroll then one of the highlights of Bang Rak is the Chao Phraya River, where you can enjoy boat rides, floating restaurants, and pleasant views day or night. For literature lovers, the Neilson Hays Library is one of the highlights of the neighbourhood, it being one of the largest collections of English language books in the country, with new titles arriving monthly.

There are plenty of options nearby for great food. Head over the Chao Phraya River to Sala Rim Naam at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel for exquisite Thai cuisine. A little closer to your condo is L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, where you’ll find a menu full of exquisite French cuisine. Alternatively, experience more of the best French cuisine in Thailand at Le Normandie, with excellent views of the river from the dining room. Just over the river is the famous Knack Market where you can enjoy a great range of delicious Thai street food as well as outdoor seating and live music. For a seriously fine dining experience, make a reservation at Sirocco at the State Tower. This excellent restaurant serves exquisite Mediterranean cuisine and fine wine.

For an evening drink, there are plenty of excellent rooftop and high-rise bars in the towers that dominate the riverbanks. Try Distil Bar at the Lebua State Tower for a Mojito as you enjoy watching the sun go down or Vertigo at Banyan Tree for great views as you drink. Cloud 9 is a more relaxed rooftop bar and is a good place to check out if you want budget-friendly cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere. Alternatively, the Author’s Lounge at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel is a fascinating place to enjoy a cocktail or afternoon tea, knowing that famous writers including Noel Coward and Joseph Conrad chose to make the bar their regular in Bangkok.

• GETTING AROUND

Chong Nosi BTS station is just a seven-minute walk from the tower that hosts your new home away from home, meaning that the area is very well connected with the rest of the city by public transport. There are also plenty of buses that run in the local area, especially along Silom Road and Sathon Road, that will take you all over the city.

From Suvarnabhumi International Airport, take the Airport Rail Link train to Phaya Thai and change onto the BTS Skytrain Sukhumvit line and ride two stops to Siam station. There you change to the BTS Skytrain Silom line and ride three stops to Chong Nonsi and walk from there. The journey should take around 55 minutes and we recommend downloading the BTS Skytrain app for timetables and service updates. A GrabTaxi from the airport will take around 50 minutes, though it could take longer at peak hours and you will have to pay a 20 baht service fee on top of your metered fare.
